I'm a licensed marriage family therapist associate (LMFTA) in the state of Washington. I graduated from Antioch University Seattle with a masters in marriage and family therapy w/drama therapy.
Given my background in the arts (music, theatre & art), I often use these skills to help others who cannot find the words but can better express themselves via art, music or drama. I also enjoy just talking if creative arts is not your thing.
As a collaborative therapist, I help foster a partnership for the purpose of resolving present barriers in your life that interfere with positive qualities such as joy, self-esteem, connection with others, compassion and love.
I have experience with individuals and families on the following issues: relationship challenges, trauma recovery, teen issues, depression, anxiety, aging/life phase changes, post-traumatic stress, combat related experiences or trauma, adjustment challenges for returning soldiers/veterans and their families, anger management, domestic violence, substance addiction, sexuality and struggles sexual functioning. I am religion friendly and LGBTQIA friendly.
My hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10am to 6pm, & some Fridays 10am to 4pm.
Sometimes the downtown area is blocked off for certain monthly events on Fridays, and the office is difficult to get to.
